Missing Report

On January 2nd, it was reported that a citizen of Toad Town had gone missing. A friend of theirs described the situation:

"We never knew their name, so we just called them Shy Guy, named after what they are. They didn't seem to mind too much. Red jacket, regular mask, blue shoes. You'll find plenty that look like our friend, but we could identify him them if you put them in a room full of lookalikes. Two days ago, we all got together for a group meetup near the train station. I suggested we all took a photo together, and they got camera shy and ran off. I went to go and see him, but I couldn't find him. I asked around, and the only thing I heard was 'I saw a Shy Guy running away, then something blue appeared under them and they disappeared'. That must've been my friend. I tried asking more, but that's all the info they had on them."
