The Thief in true form, Barry Banson!
Upon stumbling upon a book of loose lessons and notes, Barry found his way into GOOBERTOWN! His most effective magic trick? His Disguise Masks, which give him new powers, strengths, sometimes weaknesses, and especially appearances! His most prized possession though is the Thief Mask, which he uses to be a cartoon supervillain.
He gets up to some nefarious stuff most days, whether it’s Thief work, regular GOOBERTOWN shenanigans, or quarrelling with the SCG.
He may call himself a villain, but to the Gooblets of GOOBERTOWN, he's a hero when it counts.

His best friends are Phane Light and Senn Text. Meeting Senn first, and having to break Phane out of Real prison.
His arch nemesis is Zemmul. Barry thinks of it like a lighthearted rivalry. Zemmul wants to kill him.
Barry's a big contributor to the greenery around the Main City of GOOBERTOWN (because GOOBERTOWN doesn't reflect alive plants), seeing as he's allowed to travel from Earth to GOOBERTOWN any time he pleases.
Barry may be a “supervillain”, but he’s a good person at heart. When he’s not doing the villain gig, the Gooblet's think of him as an essential piece of GOOBERTOWN. He likes seeing everybody happy.
While humans came to GOOBERTOWN before him, he was the first to start living there.
